Fundraisers are an important and essential resource that enables Hospice of the Rock River Valley to continue it's tradition of quality care and service to our patients and families. Our urrrent fundraisers are listed below.
HRRV Memorial Golf Outing
Each summer brings the Hospice of the Rock River Valley Annual Memorial Golf Outing, typically held the fourth Friday of June at a local golf course.The 2014 Golf Outing was held at Deer Valley Golf Club with close to 100 participants. We would like to thank everyone who sponsored the event, donated a raffle item or participated in the outing. It was a great day and we appreciate your support to help us continue to provide hospice services free of charge to residents of the Sauk Valley area.
Birdies for Charity
A partner program for non-profits held during the John Deere Classic PGA Golf Tournament in Silvis, IL. Supporters make pledges for Hospice of the Rock River Valley based on the number of birdies hit during the week of the tournament. The 2014 tournament was held July 7-13 and 2040 birdies were made through the tournament. Thank you to everyone who made a pledge for HRRV; together with you pledges and donation from John Deere HRRV will receive over $2000.
Festival of Trees
November 15-23, 2014
The Hospice of the Rock River Valley Festival of Trees has become a holiday tradition, every November. The Festival is comprised of a Gala Evening with silent and live auctions, Designer Show, Winter Wonderland of Trees, Country Store and more. There are many opportunities available for the Festival of Trees. We also accept any and all donations for the Festival, whether it be monetary contributions, items for auctions or the Country Store.
In 2014 we are celebrating 25 Years of Holiday Magic for the Festival of Trees. We are excited about this milestone in the history of Hospice of the Rock River Valley and also look forward to a wonderful and exciting future for HRRV in the Sauk Valley.
There are many ways to become involved in the Festival of Trees -- become a volunteer, donate an auction item or make a monetary donation as a sponsor/supporter of the Festival of Trees. For details and pledge forms see the below information.
November 12 - Designs & Desserts Show with Jim Behrens at Bethel Reformed Church
Hospice of the Rock River Valley and the Festival of Trees presents the Holiday Designs and Desserts with Jim Behrens at Bethel Reformed Church in Sterling, IL. Enjoy desserts and coffee as Jim shares the latest in holiday decorating and trends. Seating is limited and advance ticket purchase is recommended. Tickets will be available Oct. 1. November 16 - Country Store opens in the Red Barn at Woodlawn Arts Academy

The store will open at Noon on Sunday, Nov. 16 in the Red Barn on the campus of Woodlawn Arts Academy in Sterling, IL, and will remain open through Sunday, Nov. 23.
