Fundraising Opportunities
Fundraisers are an important and essential resource that enables Hospice of the Rock River Valley to continue it's tradition of quality care and service to our patients and families. A list of currrent fundraisers is listed below.
HRRV Memorial Golf Outing - Hospice of the Rock River Valley sponsors an annual golf tournament that helps raise funds for hospice services for patients and families. The 2011 Golf Outing was held June 24 and we thank our presenting sponsors CGH Medical Center, Sandrock/Mickley Insurance Agency, and Astec Mobile Screens. We also say thank you to the business who were hole sponsors and donated items for our raffle. We appreciate your support.
Birdies for Charity - We are a "bird" with Birdies for Charity. Birdies for Charity is a fundraising program affiliated with the John Deere Classic PGA Golf Tournament. Pledges and flat donations are solicited by particpating charities for their program. Contributors can pledge as little as 1 cent per birdie hit during the week of the John Deere Classic, or as much as they wish to donate, including flat donations. Individuals can also guess the number of birdies hit during the tournament for a chance to win some great prizes. There were 2,160 birdies made during the 2011 John Deere Classic. Invoices for pledges will be mailed directly from the Birdies for Charity offices. We thank everyone who made a plege for Hospice.
Festival of Trees - The Hospice of the Rock River Valley Festival of Trees has become a holiday tradition, every November. The Festival is comprised of a Gala Evening with silent and live auctions, Designer Show, Winter Wonderland of Trees, Country Store and more.
There are many sponsorship opportunities available for the Festival of Trees. We also accept any and all donations for the Festival, whether it be items for the Country Store, Gala Auctions or other items.
