Fundraisers are an important and essential resource that enables Hospice of the Rock River Valley to continue it's tradition of quality care and service to our patients and families. Our urrrent fundraisers are listed below.

HRRV Memorial Golf Outing

Each summer brings the Hospice of the Rock River Valley Annual Memorial Golf Outing. The 2015 golf outing will be held on Friday, June 26 at Emerald Hill Golf Course in Sterling. Registration and lunch begins at Noon with a 1 p.m. tee off. Registration is $75 per golfer. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Birdies for Charity

A partner program for non-profits held during the John Deere Classic PGA Golf Tournament in Silvis, IL. Supporters make pledges for Hospice of the Rock River Valley based on the number of birdies hit during the week of the tournament. The 2015 tournament will be held July 6-12. By participating in Birdies for Charity, HRRV is collecting pledges of 1 cent or more for every "birdie" made during the 2015 John Deere Classic held July 6-12. Donoros may also make a flat donation in the name of HRRV if so desired. All money collected and received by the Birdies for Charity program for HRRV will be returned to HRRV in addition to "Birdie Bonus Bucks."

Additionally, each person making a pledge to Birdies for Charity has an opportunity to guess the exact number of birdies that will be made at the John Deere Classic. The person(s) who guesses the eact number among others will have the opportunity to win one of over 100 great prizes.

Hospice of the Rock River Valley Board of Directors has announced "Growing A Tradition of Care", the Campaign to Expand Hospice of the Rock River Valley. A new hospice home buildling development project has been planned and announced by Hospice of the Rock River Valley. Our new 14,000 sq.ft. development, to be built in Sterling, will offer an alternative option for those needing end-of-life care. The home will have 6-patient suites, family dining and overnight accomodation areas, meditation room/chapel, gathering areas, and other family amenities.
